At Trudgeon Family Builders, we believe in doing things the right way—no shortcuts, no guesswork, and no runaround. We build thoughtful remodels and improvements that look right, function better, and hold up long after the job is done.

I’ve been around building my whole life. As a kid I was helping my dad—carrying lumber, fetching tools, and learning by doing. Saturday mornings were This Old House, Bob Vila, and whatever project I could get myself into. Building wasn’t a hobby to me—it just felt like normal life, and it always stuck.

I stayed close to it through high school with woodshop and construction trades, but I never stepped into the typical “production pace” of the industry. Too much speed. Too many shortcuts. That’s never been how I work. I’m not the fastest builder. I’m not the cheapest. And I won’t try to convince you I’m the best. What I will tell you is that I think about what’s under the floor, behind the wall, and years down the road—not just how it looks the day we pack up.

Before coming back to building full-time, I worked as a VW tech and then moved into logistics, running my own e-commerce/logistics business since 2016. Those years taught me systems, planning, communication, scheduling, and how to run a tight operation—things that matter just as much as the actual craftsmanship on a remodel.

Today, Trudgeon Family Builders is built around intentional projects and quality that holds up. Our goal isn’t just to leave you with a finished space you’re proud to show off—it’s to leave you with something you trust. Something that functions better, fits your home, respects your budget, and lasts.

When we’re not working, we’re with our four kids—4-H, “90’s style” fun, and raising our own chickens and pigs. We live simple, we work hard, and we care about our name—because it’s on every job we do.

If you’re looking for a builder you don’t have to worry about, we’d love to talk.
